We welcome quiet, well behaved adult dogs and their owners to our Bed and Breakfast accommodation in Snowdonia National Park, North Wales. It's a great place to bring your dog, with many wonderful walks from the doorstep and dog friendly beaches just a few minutes drive.
There are local pubs in Barmouth and near Dolgellau which welcome dogs, serve food and are an hour and 10 monutes walk along the estuary path or a few minutes by car.
As sheep graze our fields and small children wander around our buildings and camp site, visitor's dogs must be kept on a lead on site and in the building at all times. They can be allowed off the lead to explore once on the Mawddach Trail which is a 5 minute walk down our steepish track to the the estuary.
We have a very sweet terrier called Gracie, a lurcher called Bryn who prefers to meet other dogs in her own time and a feisty cat which is fearless and pretty smart. They welcome visiting pets but please remember it is their home.
Pets must not be left unattended in rooms as even the calmest characters can get distressed when left alone in a new place. Pets are allowed in rooms but not on beds or furniture. We ask that dogs are not brought into the dining area during breakfast. The car park is right outside the house if you need to leave your dog in the car for a short while.
No puppies please - although we love puppies it's a big ask to bring them to a strange place which can be stressful for everyone!
We make a charge of £10/pet/ stay for the extra cleaning we do.
If you would like someone to look after your dog while you go to a restaurant, take the train up Snowdon or visit another attraction which is not dog friendly, then Sally at Dysynni dogs will be happy to help: firstname.lastname@example.org 0785 1314519. She also runs "have-a-go" agility classes locally if you fancy having some fun with your dog on holiday! There are also kennels within 10 minutes drive offering day care.
